Mary, Mother of Jesus appeared to Josyp Terelya while in a Soviet gulag prison and protected him from freezing to death on February 11, 1972.
"The Blessed Virgin arrived in a flash of light, saying, "You have called to me, and I have come." Mary remained for two hours; heating the cell. He said, she, "drew me into prophetic visions. "and "predictions for all of mankind." She was deeply concerned about Ukraine's future that was part of the Soviet Union, "Now, look!..."she said. "I saw a map and parts of it were burning... There were fires erupting all over Russia. Surrounding countries were also involved. There were flames in various parts of the world. It was what could happen if mankind does not come back to her Son. I saw entire landscapes. I saw a river I recognized, the Amur. I don't know how I knew it was that river. I saw many islands there. I saw tanks on the Soviet side; but not the Soviet type; and a city in flames. Siberia was on fire to the Ural Mountains."
Our Lady continued, "The Ukrainians should also repent. Do not lose faith. The world is cold and spiritless, as it was before the Flood."
After release from the gulag, Josyp Terelya went to Ukraine and the hamlet of Hrushiw, south of Kyiv. The Blessed Virgin was appearing at a small church to a girl named Maria Kizyn, beginning in 1987 on the anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster. Thousands of people came to the site. Josyp Terelya saw the Blessed Virgin in a glow at the church. She related a message to him: "My daughter Ukraine, I have come to you because you have remained faithful to me amidst this desolation, and devout people will spread the news of me everywhere." She warned, "I see fire. The villages are burning. Water is burning. The very air is on fire. Everything is in flames. If people do not convert to Christ, there will be war. There shall be a great conflagration. All of you who have heard me today, you must go into the world and witness what is to come." 1,3
Sister Elena Aiello a credible mystic who suffered stigmata and was given revelations over many years. Our Lady revealed to her on Good Friday in 1960: "How youth live in perdition! How many innocent souls find themselves enwrapped in a chain of scandals? The world has become a flooded valley, overflowing with filth and mud. Some of the most difficult trials of Divine Justice are yet to come before the deluge of fire." (about 2030?)
"I, for a long time, have advised men in many ways, but they do not listen to my maternal appeals, and they continue to walk the paths of perdition. But soon terrifying manifestations will be seen, which will make even the most obdurate sinner tremble!"
"Great calamities will come upon the world, which will bring confusion, tears, struggles, and pain. Great earthquakes will swallow up entire cities and countries and will bring epidemics, famine, and terrible destruction especially where the sons of darkness are (pagan or anti-God nations)."
"In these tragic hours, the world has need of prayers and penance, because the Pope, the priests, and the Church are in danger. If we do not pray, Russia will march upon all of Europe, and particularly upon Italy, bringing much more ruin and havoc!
Hence the priests must be in the front line of defense of the Church, by example and sanctity in life, for materialism is breaking forth in all nations and evil prevails over good." 5, 6
